From your own home and delivered via zoom, an afternoon of gentle movements, meditation and experimental mark-making inspired by the breath.
Mindfulness is an essential tool for creative practice. When we are present in the moment, we feel calmer and we are more open to receiving inspiration that can feed our creativity.
In this workshop we repeat movements of the hand in a sort of meditative repetition of lines and abstract mark-making; we concentrate on the experience and the process rather then the result.
This means the workshop is accessible to everyone whether they can draw or not. It’s about reacting to what is happening rather than creating a finished piece.
Materials needed: You will need plain paper, a few different black markers, a soft pencil, eraser, scissors and a glue stick.
